Victor Bay

Victor was born in Long Beach, California in the heart of “Cambodia Town” and lived there until he was 11 when the family decided to move to Salt Lake City, Utah. Throughout his life, Victor has always been passionate about his heritage and consistently sought to learn more about where his parents came from and the experiences they went through. This cultural curiosity has led him to join the museum’s board with the hopes of impacting the youth within the community.

In addition to working with the Cambodian community, Victor has also been an advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities; he has been involved with organizations such as Best Buddies International and the Special Olympics.

In his role as Treasurer, Victor will bring 10 years of financial services experience to the museum. He currently works for an asset management firm in downtown Chicago. Victor graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah, and a MBA with an emphasis in International Business from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In his spare time Victor enjoys snowboarding, photography, and swimming.
