Sorphea is a 2nd generation Khmer-American born in Thailand and raised in the Chicagoland area. She has a passion for educating and empowering people with the knowledge to make a difference.
As a young adult, Sorphea gave back to her community by working with the Cambodian Association of Illinois (CAI) and supervising the summer youth program. She mentored young girls through the Khmer Angels Teen Girls club, creating a safe space for the teenagers to come together and coordinating activities to cultivate positive relationships.
Sorphea is the mother of Marissa, Michael and Aidan who lives in Des Plaines. She studied Nursing and has been a practitioner for over 7 years. The skills in this field vary from direct patient care to marketing and sales.
