Elizabeth Keo is a 1.5 generation Cambodian American who has spent most of her adult years working with the Cambodian American community. In 2005, Liz served as Youth Program Director of the Cambodian Association of Illinois (CAI) and went on to become Associate Director for the organization.
Though she left her staff position to pursue other interests, Liz continued by joining CAI’s Board of Directors and served as Special Events Coordinator.
Currently, she is the mom of an active toddler and works at McGaw YMCA Children's Center in Evanston as a pre-k teacher.
Liz graduated DePaul University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and is working on her Masters in Early Childhood Education at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).
